A Mini Titans Market Story  “Try Me” at St. Benedict School

This past weekend, the halls of St. Benedict School came alive with Christmas lights, handmade creations, and the unmistakable buzz of little entrepreneurs finding their voice. The Mini Titans set up their booth with excitement, nervous energy, and the products they had worked so hard to create. What followed was more than a market day it was a transformational experience.

For six full hours, these kids showed up. They crafted their pitches, adjusted their displays, counted change, and learned how to talk to real customers. And despite being young, they dug deep. There were moments many of them when their energy dipped so low that their heads rested on the table, even with crowds swirling around them. They were tired. They were learning what every entrepreneur eventually learns: success doesn’t come from comfort.

That’s when we introduced a new challenge:“Don’t let the next 20 people walk past your table without saying something.”

It was simple but powerful.

Suddenly, the slump shifted. The kids stood back up, looked people in the eye, and tried again. And just like that momentum returned. Their confidence rose, their smiles came back, and the results followed. They saw with their own eyes what happens when effort sparks energy, and energy sparks opportunity.

By the end of the day, the Mini Titans had raised over $71 for the Alberta Cancer Foundation, proving once again that even small hands can make a meaningful difference.

But the real victory wasn’t just the money raised it was the mindset built.

At Mini Titans, we don’t say “Why me?”We say “Try me.”

And at this market, these young Titans lived that truth. They left tired, proud, and a little bit transformed carrying a lesson that will stay with them long after the Christmas lights come down.

Please visit our next market to be apart of the next chapter of growth for the next generation.
